The Future Loves You Already

a collaboration with poet Jena Schwartz

This broadside was created to work with the poem and the video that writer Jena Schwartz created around her poem “The Future Loves You Already”. We collaborated to create a broadside that could be easily framed and hung and to visually illustrate the ideas and themes of the piece.

In the author’s words: The poem is aspirational. It's a vision and an invitation. And while that is lovely and hopefully inspiring, my deepest wish is that it will also serve as a call to reflection and action.

Proceeds of the sale of the print go to support two projects—Mindy Tsonas Choi’s Be Seen Project and Kerra Bolton’s Return of the Black Madonna.
