THE PROJECT: Kate and Katie reached out to me about designing the second edition of their organization’s book Liberating Liturgies. The book is a collection of writings chosen for their diversity, adaptability, and creativity, with the hope that they may resonate widely and deeply.

I also created 8 original paintings for the cover and interior of the book to represent the interconnection of the women’s prayers and writings within the book, and to express the movement of Spirit in all people.

If you’re intrigued, visit the Women’s Ordination Conference, they are: the uncompromising feminist voice for women’s ordination and gender equity in the Roman Catholic Church since 1975.

“Working with Liz was such a pleasure. She listened closely to our ideas and hopes for the "feel" of our book and created meaningful illustrations that enriched our book and made it a really special thing to hold and enjoy. She created a clear design and layout for our book, taking feedback and incorporating it into the final product. Her knowledge of the publishing process helped guide us along, since we were totally new to the process. Liz's sincere interest and enthusiasm for the project shone through in the beauty of her work.”
