THE PROJECT:  Working on this book with Denise was like a frolic through wonderland—no idea was too crazy or too big—and I bounced many design ideas by her—and she was game for all of it. All of the artwork in the book is Denise’s, in fact she created the paintings for the chapter openers as we were working on the book. I incorporated design elements that were in keeping with Denise’s personal style, and I channeled her presence to create a design that would elevate and hold this funny, heartfelt, and real guide to help get the reader to all the places she wants to go.

From beginning to completion, Liz brought my vision to light. She’s a goddess of design. And a magical ‘book whisperer’. Liz was able to visualize The Fraud Fable as if she were imagining it through my eyes. Our collaboration was easy and enjoyable. We laughed, we cried, we dropped F-bombs and introspected about writing and life. Not only did I find a master designer with Liz, but I also found a dear new friend. I cannot wait to work with her again.”
